Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leader in the HVAC industry, has an opening for a Training Coordinator at our facility in Bryan, OH.

With production facilities in Ohio, Georgia, and Mexico, we service our customers both nationwide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.
Scope and Responsibilities:
The Training Coordinator will develop and facilitate effective training and communications in support of Bard Manufacturing’s production and QMS systems, tools and processes. The primary focus is to develop employees’ skills and capabilities to improve product quality and plant productivity. The Training Coordinator advocates for employee training needs and must be able to interpret and effectively communicate those needs to the leadership team. The primary role will be to collaborate with department supervisors, Quality, Engineering and HR to create learning paths for new hires (or new to role employees) and to ensure continuous education / training needs are met to expedite time to full productivity.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Monitor, initiate, and document all required training for Bard employees.
+ Work with department supervisors, certified trainers, and quality to develop training material.
+ Develop and distribute training material per individual program requirements.
+ Adhere to and ensure compliance with Quality System SOP’s, work instructions, drawings, ISO, and all over company policies.
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of training and make recommendations that drive continual improvement and support our business goals.
+ Investigate and/or develop new methods and tools for adult based training.
+ Update and maintain training plans and materials in terms of content and delivery methods.
+ Perform other training related duties as identified by management.
+ Maintain a schedule of refresher training courses and master training calendars.
+ Assist with contributing to the instructional design process to develop internal education programs. Utilize proven techniques to research, design and develop learning materials for new and existing programs in a variety of contexts and subjects, using several software applications and tools.
+ Assist the team with continuous improvement of training processes, systems, tools and resources.
+ Maintain updated curriculum database.
+ Train and test employees, as well as provide train-the-trainer education.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:
+ Minimum Associate’s degree in business or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ 2+ years of related quality and training experience.
+ Fundamental knowledge of training techniques, materials, and adult learning.
+ Working knowledge of ISO requirements preferred
+ Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to solve problems with little or no supervision.
+ Knowledge of adult learning theory and practice, strong project management, facilitation, and creation of high-quality training materials.
+ Experienced in advanced computer and software skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Demonstrated experience in developing and managing learning programs for all employees, including a focus on developing new managers/supervisors in a plant environment.
+ Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting.
