The Training Center Coordinator is responsible for all administrative aspects of the American Heart Association (AHA) approved class curriculum, as well as other required certification courses such as NRP, TNCC, ENPC, and STABLE.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Certification as an AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider is required. Must possess experience in the healthcare field. Knowledge of teaching methods and adult learning principles required. Experience with data entry software such as Word and Excel or equivalent and Quick Books preferred
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required. Healthcare experience required. Associates degree or equivalent experience in healthcare related field preferred. Experience coordinating teams preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Valid Montana driver's license required. AHA BLS certification required. AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider Instructor required.
The coordinator will:
assist with scheduling, classrooms, registrations, and ordering supplies necessary for St. Peter’s Health Training Center maintain a complete and accurate record and rosters, with issuance of eCards or certificates for all training courses and participants manage, and monitor internal and external instructor files for completion and accuracy serve as a regional training center coordinator, monitoring community-based instructors, and assuring knowledge and use of current resources serve as a resource for information, support, and quality assurance for all instructors advise student learners on AHA programs as needed provides the required instructor renewal courses for St. Peter’s Health Training Center’s instructors creates invoices for external participant billing as needed leads or participates in Mock Code Blue scenario skills and drills throughout the organization as neededCoordination of community AHA training may be required. Maintaining current knowledge of AHA standards through attendance at webinars or inservices required. Ability to work full time in the office setting required.
