Position Summary:
The Training and HR Coordinator is responsible for improving the productivity of the organization's employees. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. Will perform multiple HR duties including: recruiting, staffing, on-boarding, performance management, and administering various HR programs and projects. Experience in Workday software a plus.
Essential Functions:
Conducts annual training and development needs assessment.Develops training and development programs and objectives.Conduct recruiting and on-boarding for both hourly and salaried positions.Administers spending against the departmental budget.Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.Conduct weekly staffing meeting with production managers.Administers various HR programs and projects.Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.Usage of Workday software and other computer programs as typically used in HR.Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.Required Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong presentation skills.Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.Ability to design and implement effective training and development.Desired Skills:
Highly organized, self-motivated, self-starting individual who can work independently as well as work effectively in a collaborative team environment and customer focused. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable. A minimum of 4 years’ training experience and/or coordinating training programs. sales and manufacturing. Manufacturing experience a plus.
