What You’ll Do:

Executes training programs as set forth by the Regional and Corporate Training management team to guarantee safe, accurate, and timely preventative maintenance or repair of equipment in the shop.

·         Responsible for all training of shop employees to maximize their efficiency, productivity, and development.·         Assists and trains Technicians in troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing tractors, trailers, and related mechanical components·         Serve as the primary trainer of shop employees; developing and executing custom training plans for each employee.·         Works closely with Shop Manager and Supervisors to ensure success of the training program while not disrupting ongoing maintenance operations. ·         Executes new employee on-boarding process in coordination with Shop Management. ·         Assists in the development and upkeep of corporate maintenance skillset training program.·         Assists with non-technical training such as leadership, conflict resolution, and other “soft skills”·         Coordinates with shop management in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and maintaining equipment in the shop.·         Manages the shop preventative maintenance audit program·         Facilitates maintenance of company standards.·         Monitors repair order process for accuracy and completeness·         Faciliates a safe and efficient work environment·         Perform truck and/or trailer maintenance as required·         Performs other duties as assigned.
