Trainer, Healthcare Helpdesk

The Healthcare Helpdesk Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for helpdesk associates. The role involves designing instructional materials, conducting training sessions, and ensuring that all helpdesk staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer support. The ideal candidate will have strong teaching abilities, excellent communication skills, and an in-depth understanding of healthcare operations and IT systems.
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing associates Conduct training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching as needed Design instructional materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules Assess trainees’ performance through evaluations, quizzes, and feedback sessions Provide ongoing support and mentorship to helpdesk staffQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role with at least 1 year in a trainer position Certification in training, instructional design, or healthcare IT is an advantage Should have delivered training on HIPAA compliance and data security best practices Experience in remote training and e-learning platforms Stay updated on healthcare policies, procedures, and IT systems to ensure training content remains relevant Collaborate with helpdesk managers to identify training needs and areas for improvement Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations in all training activities Maintain training records and report on training effectiveness to management
