The Trainee Wireline Operator is responsible for assisting in the preparations, minor maintenance, and logistics of a full range of wireline services required by various clients. Supporting movement of equipment across our Europe team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within the Wireline Systems Product Line in the Europe Region.
 

As a Trainee Wireline Operator, you will be responsible for:
 

Under general supervision receives established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity performs basic duties at the wellsite and at the shop.

Performing routine maintenance of wireline equipment, servicing mechanical tools and building cableheads.

Maintaining accurate records and effective communication within the team ensuring all job-related paperwork is completed on time.

Ensuring all ancillary equipment is kept stocked, calibrated, certified and maintained, ready for upcoming offshore operations.

Coordinating and assist the logistics team with the preparation of Loadouts and receiving Backloads of Wireline Equipment.

Participating effectively in quality improvement efforts.

Promoting and maintaining good customer relations.

Using own initiative and prioritising time to deliver to deadlines.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Be able to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings or documentation.

Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude, ideally working with offshore downhole tools.

Be able to demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail.

Be fluent in English.

This role will include going offshore once relevant offshore certs have been obtained if not already held.
