Trainee Insurance Broker/Associate Client Advisor
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Corporate Team as an Associate Client Advisor. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong educational background with ambitions to join an established, market leading insurance broker.
Within this role you will have the opportunity to join our exciting Corporate practice, where you will be supporting a team of experts on selecting and obtaining the best insurance programme; as well as working with a team of experienced Client Advisors and Executives on understanding our clients’ business, the challenges they face, their risks, and what value looks like for them. As you progress through the training programme, you will then be in a position to learn how to advise on the best course of action for our clients risk management and work with the broking teams to manage and optimize our value proposition.
This position is located in our West Malling offices and the successful individual will have the opportunity to split their working week between the physical office and remote working.

We will count on you to:
Complete Insurance Practitioner qualifications, achieving accreditation from the Chartered Insurance Institute
Support Marsh Client Executives regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals and administer mid-term changes to risk
Request and review underwriting information on behalf of corporate clients and understand their requirements
Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips in consultation with the Client Executives and the Placement Team
Utilise Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers
Collaborate with Client Executives and Placement Teams to prepare client renewal reports
Produce and/or request insurer documentation
Review and comment on Indemnity and Insurance clauses
What you need to have:
Holds a 2:1 university degree (or equivalent qualification) or above
Right to Work in the UK or Republic of Ireland (no visa sponsorship provided)
