Job Description

The Butler is dedicated to our Anantara suites, ensuring a very personal, detailed and seamless service.

He/ She will take good care of all the guest’s needs, from the pre-arrival to their post-departure.

With discretion and good manners, he/she will be seen by the guest’s as a competent and reliable person, so to project onto them his/her ownership, above all, by never intruding or imposing their being.


Our very first impression on guests is a critical part of a permanent effect and a lasting impact on their memories.

Our deportment, behaviors, manners & etiquette must support the patrimony of Anantara, which includes also grooming & non-verbal communication.

Principal duties:
 

Ensure all Suites and guest’s areas are properly cleaned and maintained at all times, accordingly to the hotel Standards Operating Procedure related to these areasInform and promptly communicate, guest’s requests, preferences or useful information to each departments involved.Be knowledgeable of the Hotel features and surroundingsHelp and assist all guests in a friendly and educated mannerShow remarkable skills in anticipating guest’s needs & exceptional attention to detailsBuild a rigorous rapport with guests and maintain interaction in order to facilitate guest recognition and obtain specific needs, likes and dislikes so to preserve a guest history files.Ensure Anantara Brand Standards are attended, as well as etiquette and procedures listed by the LQA standards.It is a GR specialist duty to create “wow moments” throughout the guest’s sojourn at Palazzo Naiadi.Report for duty punctually, wearing the proper uniform and name tag.Maintain a high level of personal appearance and self-hygiene.Ensure a full & complete shift handover and maintain a high level of communication & feedback among the team members.Liaise and attune at all times with Housekeeping and Front of House team  Set up suites accordingly to guest’s history, requests, and specific amenitiesAble to work any shift assigned by Head of DepartmentAssist and support Butler team for potential assistance with luggage & shoe’s treatments.

 

QualificationsHigh school diploma or similarLanguage required: Italian proficient / English B2-level or abovePrevious Hotel’s work experiences or similarKnowledge of service skillsFine eye for detailAble to work under pressure & follows directions
