PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: 
The position incumbent will work to support and at the direction of the General Yardmaster to effect safe and efficient train and yard movements; processing inbound and outbound trains and transfers; preparing necessary reports/list and all other duties as assigned.  Applicant must have working knowledge of the Common Yards system, AEI, TPW and related reporting systems.  Applicant must have valid driver’s license.
 

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Yard clerical duties Position provides documentation to train crews as directed by Trainmaster Line up inventory as required Check and verify tracks, cars, and yards Cab and pick up crews when required Other duties as assigned
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work any of 3 shifts Must have valid driver's license to operate company vehicles Computer experience required Must be able to multitask Strong communication skills 25 wpm typing speed required
