JOB TITLE          :   TRAFFIC MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary function of a Traffic Manager at Hogarth is to manager traffic for all jobs briefed into the studio. This role is also responsible for managing clients, voice over artists and guests coming into the studios.

The job process and requirements include, but are not limited to the following:

Project Coordination and Management

Meet with Producers and HOD’s to understand status of all projects in the system and get details of work coming into the agency. Create a schedule of new jobs, assign tasks using the Chase system based on hours quoted. Review current and future timelines and job statuses with producers and HOD’s and if necessary, with individuals working on the jobs. Reschedule projects based on new or changing priorities. Report to management about the current workflow and communicate any possible issues with too much or too little work coming into the agency. Assign tasks to team members based on their skill sets and availability

 

Receiving of Clients/ Voice Artists and or Guests

Have full knowledge of artists arriving for voice over bookings If clients are coming liaise with producers on numbers and if catering is required. Let editors. Audio ops know that clients are coming. Let housekeeping know that guests are arriving ahead of time.

Communication

Act as the primary point of contact between departments. Facilitate daily status meetings to review project progress and address any issues Keep all stakeholders updated of project status and changes in timelines

 

Resource Allocation

Allocate resources according to capacity Review monthly timesheets to keep abreast of capacity

 

Budget Management

Monitor project budgets Identify potential cost saving opportunities without compromising quality

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years working experience as a Traffic Manager Relevant industry related tertiary qualification Experience working with/for a production facility Experience working with/for an advertising agency Knowledge of Chase Knowledge of the editing and post-production process for video

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Organized and thorough Proficiency in project management software Time management Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Project management Ability to give direction Ability to manage people Resourcefulness Solution orientated Excellent attention to detail
