Job DescriptionThe Traffic Coordinator is responsible for facilitating workflow. Duties include managing internal traffic systems, creating schedules and tracking project progress, routing work for review and approval, archiving files and assets, and opening and closing projects. This position will partner and build strong relationships with internal clients and team members. This position is regarded by the customer as a trusted advisor and works closely with all members of the team to set project milestones, create project timelines, and track schedules to ensure all deliverable deadlines are met on time and on brand.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for job intake and document edits and ensuring quality, timeliness, and overall client satisfaction Determine job requirements, communicate priorities, adjust production plans, and communicates with customers on day-to-day production Review schedules. Defines staffing levels and resources required and communicates needs or exceptions to department management Arranges intra-and inter-departmental help to maximize the utilization of department resourcesAnalyzes customer materials, documents, and files and resolves problems and or questions prior to production Develops work assignments in conformance with established prioritiesMonitors the production of all jobs, ensuring priorities are consistent with commitments and production decisions are cost-effective actions to achieve resultsAssists management in the identification of equipment, process, and personnel barriers to achieving goals and targeted resultsResponsible for the daily management of job inputDevelops and maintains accurate records of all customer materials and files.Coordinates and arranges all departmental shipments, including special couriers to (or from) customers and print locationsMaintains accurate copy receipt and transmittal records on all work in progress.Responds directly to customer queries and manufacturing areas as required.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsDemonstrated ability to take initiative Bachelor's degree in discipline related to function of work with 3 or more years relevant work experienceAble to demonstrate the ability to solve somewhat more complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriatelyMust be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at the level of detail required to resolve issues of moderate complexityAble to apply strong functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignmentsMay require knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignmentsAble to demonstrate continued expertise in the primary tools or applications used in completing daily work assignments Requires very good communication skills with the ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understandMust be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situationsMust be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external customersStrong process management skills and commitment to continuously improving the quality and timeliness of his/her own work and that of group and departmentAbility to work effectively and proactively, both independently and as part of a teamDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressureAdditional InformationThe national pay range for this role is $52,500 - $93,400/ year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
