Trade Sales Manager

Job Summary:

This position will assist driving revenue through strategic B2B relationships. This role leverages business development expertise to evaluate our current trade and wholesale programs and supports plans to expand both the programs and teams. This role is responsible to execute on that strategy, ensuring key industry relationships are built and milestones are met.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

Optimize, scale and manage all aspects of our Trade and B2B programs including business development, sales, account management, and support teams. Support the strategic vision for the Trade and B2B channels Develop and implement high performing business units to meet and exceed business goals. Own the trade and wholesale pricing regime. Quarterly pricing updates, new SKU’s and management of client level pricing.  Establish and drive relationships with both clients and vendors to cultivate new sales opportunities. Effectively influence, advise, and get buy-in from all stakeholders on the Trade and B2B initiatives.Analyze sales of new and repeat purchasers and build and execute a plan to optimize both. Analyze sales and NPS scores to identify trends and problems and work with internal teams to address areas of opportunity. Review and adapt defined KPIs on a quarterly basis together with the relevant teams. Partner with the CE leadership to lead the customer support team and hold accountable for division KPI’s.SCOPE & IMPACT: 

This role is supporting the transformation our $10M trade programs into a $50M business unit in order to achieve century vision growth objectives. This role is client facing in the management and care of major accounts for the Joybird brand.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experienceA proven performer - You have a record of meeting and exceeding sales goals in B2B business development, preferably in furniture/home goods. A positive force - You promote and contribute to a positive working environment with an upbeat and entrepreneurial approach. 2-3 years experience in trade business development or similar area This role will be required to travel approximately 50% of the time.

COMPENSATION: $91,000 to $114,700
