Trade Finance Transaction Management Specialist

As a Trade Finance Transaction Management Specialist within the Credit Products Delivery team, you will serve as a middle office transaction management partner for clients of the Corporate & Investment Bank, Commercial Bank and Global Trade Businesses. Your role will involve providing expertise in the negotiation and review of trade facility documentation and managing end-to-end transactions for Core Trade Finance (and Loan) products. You will work closely with JPMorgan's Trade Finance sales and client coverage teams, external legal counsel, and facility agents.

Job responsibilities

Delivers best-in-class trade finance execution for credit facilities and ancillary legal documentation, particularly for corporate clients, including oversight of the deal closing process Faces Clients (or their counsel) in close partnership with Sales, Front Office and Credit to review and support the negotiation of legal documentation across core trade finance products and solutions for EMEA clients, with a focus on bilateral facilities Liaises with internal/external counsel in the review of facility documentation Draws on transactional expertise to suggest solutions for appropriate stakeholders (Sales, Product, Bankers, Credit, Tax, Implementation teams, Ops etc) as necessary, ensuring they are brought into the debate in a timely manner to reach a resolution Manages to the internal controls framework, reporting and escalation for transaction execution, including preparing and coordinating the approval of documentation deviations during negotiations Contributes to and drive wider WLS projects & initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

In depth technical knowledge and understanding of trade finance credit documentation Good understanding of trade finance documentation execution, lending products and associated legal agreements (Investment Grade & Non-Investment Grade) Solid understanding of core trade products, transaction management, lending products more broadly, and banking processes Ability to identify problems and escalate these promptly Excellent coordination skills and a strong control mindset Good organization skills, and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, ability to interact professionally and confidently with the Front Office and functional partners globally Confident, self-starter, assertive and energetic Set high standards of performance for self  Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
