Trade Compliance, Customs & Logistics Analyst II

Purpose Statement:  The Trade Analyst II will assist local, regional and global trade teams with import and export compliance activities. This role will support operational excellence in Custom and Trade Compliance to ensure the timely and compliant flow of goods and technology. The role will support the business to create compliant customer solutions for existing and new customers. This individual will contribute to enhance the governance of the Trade Compliance function.

Key Job Accountabilities:

Support operational excellence in Custom and Trade Compliance by assigning import/export classifications, performing clearance activities, obtaining relevance licenses and permits, resolving clearance delays with service providers, conducting restricted party screening, and maintaining records to local requirements.Draft and update trade-related standard operating procedures, work instructions, process mapping, training materials, and other governance documents to support Plexus' compliance with applicable trade regulations.Support internal stakeholders by interpreting and analyzing applicable regulatory and operational requirements to create solutions that enable compliant, efficient and cost-effective operations.Participate in activities to continuously improve the strength of the Plexus trade compliance and logistics program, which may include but not limited to generating metrics/KPIs, conducting data analysis, supporting audits, and recommending corrective actions.Additional trade compliance, customs, and logistics duties as assigned

Education/Experience Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.

Intermediate Computer Skills.Intermediate Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills.Intermediate Verbal and Written Communication Skills.Intermediate Google Workspace or MS Office Skills Specifically (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Access).General office equipment and materials.

Physical Requirements:  

Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.

Travel Requirements:  

Less than 40%
