A Total Proactive and Preventative Maintenance (TPM) Coordinator job at our manufacturing plant in Sacramento, CA is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. You will implement and manage TPM processes that emphasize proactive and preventative maintenance to maximize the operational efficiency of equipment in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
The compensation starts at $28 an hour. The position requires a shift time of 6:00 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime.

Develop and implement TPM strategies across plants to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and minimize downtime Act as a change agent through promotion of TPM Conduct, schedule, and manage TPM audits to identify and eliminate defects, breakdowns, and losses in equipment and processes Create teams for each TPM event with detailed schedule and agenda Provide training on TPM principles and methodologies to plant personnel. Facilitate workshops and continuous improvement events to enhance TPM knowledge and skills Manage provisional standards of all machines including tooling changeover schedules Maintain accurate records of TPM activities, including project documentation and performance metrics Manage all equipment abnormality and improvement tags for allocation to Maintenance and ongoing work by team Conduct training sessions for cleaning, lubrication, pneumatic, and electrical standards Build TPM before/after boards for every TPM machine with teams to communicate status and visual standards Create a work environment that is clean and well-organized through the 5S principles Improve equipment reliability by focusing on the eight pillars of TPMGeneral Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum of an Associate degree, Bachelor preferred, and 3-5 years of manufacturing experience. Strong knowledge of TPM principles, methodologies, and best practices preferred Excellent communication, training, and facilitation skills Experience with process and data analysis, and monitoring performance metrics High level of involvement in processes and procedures Be a leader in changing culture by optimizing relationships between operator and equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Able to travel as needed Microsoft Excel experienceOur benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness for you and your eligible spouse/dependents.
