Aerotek is actively hiring a **Tool Maker** to join a growing manufacturing team in Rochester, NY! **Job Description** Tool makers will be responsible for utilizing blueprints, models, sketches, and tool descriptions to construct precision tools and tooling components used in the machine building industry. Set up and operation of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders will be necessary. Final measuring and inspection of machined parts required. Tool makers will lastly assist in machine builds and assembly when required. This position includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401k, paid holidays, PTO, and sick leave. Employees will be working in a clean manufacturing environment on a Monday through Friday, day shift schedule. **Skill Requirements** + Previous experience with set up and operation of mills, lathes, grinders, and additional fabrication equipment + High level measuring and blueprint reading skills + Quality inspection + Hand tool use + Ability to build and construct machinery as required + Previous experience with CAD/CAM software beneficial **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
