Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:  

Maintain tooling Quality STD’s and Preventative/ Predictive Maintenance program to insure compliance with QS9000 Requirements.Maintain production standards to ensure parts are produced to scheduleAssure that Drive’s and Customers’ quality standards are being metTroubleshoot for problems during production.Coordinate engineer changes, station studies, CMM studies, and overtime schedules.Assist Area Manager in achieving KOI targets.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

EDUCATION: 

Applicable technical degree with DOL certified 4-year apprenticeship and Journeyman Card

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING: 

Must have a minimum of 7 years experience with assembly tooling with minimum 5 years of specializing with new assembly tool construction and robot tooling.Tool and Die Maker with related experience/familiar with assembly tooling work.Good hand dexterity, mechanical skills, mathematical skills and organizational skills.Hemming die or clinch tool experience is a mustMetrology experience is required including exposure to and using master-buck tooling.Needs to understand GD&T, CMM, Faro, Roma Arm, visual CMM reports, and be able to make sound decisions based on this data.

Pay range: $39.17 - $43.26 per hour
