**Job Title: Tool Room Machinist** **Job Description** Aerotek is hiring immediately for a direct hire tool room machinist in Racine, WI. This position involves the custom machining through the use of manual machines, CNC machinery, and secondary equipment. **Responsibilities** + Utilize manual machines and CNC machinery for custom machining tasks. + Read and interpret blueprints to produce or repair parts. + Perform quality inspections using various measuring equipment. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience in manual or tool room machining. + Experience with lathe and mill operations. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Knowledge of tool room operations and manual machining. + Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. + Experience with CNC machining is a plus. + Programming with G&M codes is a plus. **Shift Schedule** 1st shift - 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM - Monday through Friday Pay is up to $30/hour based on skill level and experience.
