Job Summary:
The Tool Crib Attendant receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in an industrial establishment.
Responsibilities:
Receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in industrial establishmentIssue tools and equipment to workers and maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually or using computer.Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment.Prepare periodic inventory or maintain perpetual inventory of tools and equipment, manually or using computer.Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually or using micrometer, and report damage or wear to supervisors.Repair, service, and lubricate tools and equipment, using hand tools.May deliver tools or equipment to workers, manually or using hand truck.May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.Set up and prepare tooling for set ups on machines for operators in machine shop.Non-Essential Functions:

Experience: 2+ years relevant work experienceKnowledge: Knowledge in production control using Oracle or equivalent MRP system; Knowledge of MSC and Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, Word)Skills/Abilities: Must have the ability to read and understand production process data and routing instructions; Strong communication, organizational and oral presentation skillsEducation/Certification: High School diploma or equivalentEligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SMED system protocolsKnowledge of changeover steps as possible to “external” (performed while the equipment is running), and to simplify and streamline the remaining steps in machining processWorking Conditions:

Salary range: $25.52 to $32.03Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
