Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has openings for a Tool Crib Attendant 1 or Tool Crib Attendant 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

Receives, stores, and issues tools, support equipment, consumables, HAZMAT, and other related items. Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed; reports damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database. Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment; disposes of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedure. Ensures that measuring devices are periodically calibrated.
Basic Qualifications Level 1:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED with 0 years of experience in customer service, tool crib, or minor tool repair.
Must be able to support a 4/10 – 3/10 working rotation, both first and second shift, to support operations.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to work standing up for extended periods of time.
Able to use/hold/manipulate small tools and parts with hands. Simple grasping, power grasping and fine manipulation is required.
Able to use vibrating tools and perform torquing operations in include hand tools & power equipment and climb ladders or stairs.
Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
Must be detail oriented, teamwork oriented, and have a strong work ethic.
Must be able to learn and follow established processes and procedures.
Familiar with data entry, and proficient using digital scanners for tool control & inventory.
Familiar with maintaining records and providing traceability of materials.

Salary Range: $38,600.00 - $64,300.00Salary Range 2: $45,800.00 - $76,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
