We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Oil Cooling Commodity Implementation Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves central buying responsibility for transmission oil cooling, developing and executing supply base and commodity strategies, and ensuring strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve cost, timing, and quality objectives

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Business Administration). Technical or Engineering degree, desirable. High business acumen with solid understanding of Global Purchasing operations, desirable. Exceptional data analytics skills - ability to mine data to support the team in making strategic decisions. Advanced English language skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Strategic mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture.

List Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position

 

Transmission Oil Cooling - Central Buying Responsibility

Develop and execute supply base/commodity strategies Interact and create strong relationship with cross functional teams to deliver common objectives (cost, timing, quality) Lead negotiations to ensure best cost at sourcing as well as long term price sustainability Deliver strong data analysis that lead to positive business decisions and robust tracking of price changes through life of the program/project Lead sourcing processes to deliver best in class value, diverse supply base and strong business relationships with suppliers Supplier risk management to deliver sourced projects and leveraging Purchasing position to complete them on time Lead the development of supplier support plans that aid in the execution of short-term capacity increases and/or production schedule changes that can lead to supplier capacity constraints

Position Specific Challenges:

Notable exposure commodity with high FTO and significant complexity of module  Collaborate with VO, Lean Manufacturing, STA and PD to support fact-based discussions to negotiate with suppliers. Develop the ability to see the bigger picture by having direct knowledge of plants' operating patterns. Focused commodity for CSW to develop and drive implementation of a Commodity Strategy challenging sourcing timing/process. Continue to develop non-standard process due to ground breaking solutions that permits the commodity to accelerate the BC@J1 transition vs traditional TVM
