Job Title: Title Service Specialist
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Title Service Specialist for a position in the salvage industry. The role involves handling title paperwork for vehicles involved in accidents. You will be responsible for verifying titles, processing them into salvage for insurance companies, and ensuring vehicles are ready for sale. This position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as you will manage emails, open mail, scan documents, and perform basic data entry into our system called ASAP. Additionally, you may need to review Excel reports to track progress.

ResponsibilitiesResearch missing and/or incorrect title paperwork and determine proper resolution in a timely manner.Provide a variety of customer support services through mail, email, telephone, and direct personal contact.Review and enter title work for all customers.Communicate with customers via email or verbally to handle title issues daily.Complete applications to transfer title ownership.Enter information from titles received from the state into the operating system.Stay current with title/salvage laws in multiple states.Respond to customer questions, complaints, and requests.Resolve problems encountered in the effort to transfer title ownership.Perform word processing assignments, filing, and related clerical duties.Follow well-established procedures under the close direction of a supervisor.Assist with other office functions as needed.Immediately report all violations of company policy to a supervisor or manager.Protect and preserve confidential, personal customer information and adhere to state and company records retention policies and procedures.Essential Skills1-2 years of professional administrative experience in a fast-paced/deadline environment.Proven ability to perform monotonous work efficiently.Strong preference for title industry experience.Ability to work as part of a team and individually.Ability to learn quickly and retain information.Professional written and verbal communication skills.Experience performing follow-up calls to internal/external stakeholders to progress the titling process.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of state/national title processing experience preferred.Previous knowledge in title and salvage title requirements.Experience maintaining customer databases.Work Environment

This is an office environment with a quiet atmosphere, minimal foot traffic, and limited phone work. The position is very clerical with a focus on documentation and processing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at their desk with minimal interpersonal interaction. The standard schedule is 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, though the service center operates from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
