Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join a leading automotive chain. The Title Clerk will be responsible for processing vehicle titles, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Process vehicle titles and registrations accurately and efficiently.
+ Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
+ Submit title applications to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and follow up on any issues or delays.
+ Maintain and update vehicle title records in company databases.
+ Communicate with customers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders regarding title-related inquiries.
+ Resolve title discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
+ Ensure timely processing of lien releases, title transfers, and duplicate title requests.
+ Maintain knowledge of current title laws and DMV regulations.
+ Assist with other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred).
+ Previous experience as a Title Clerk or in a related administrative role within the automotive industry is preferred.
+ Familiarity with state title and registration processes.
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership management software.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
+ Strong customer service and communication skills.
