Title: Manager, Marketing

Position Summary

The JetBlue Travel Products (JTP) Manager, Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing efforts and initiatives in support of the JTP strategy. The Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a marketing plan that will allow JTP to meet its strategic growth objectives on both short- and long-term horizons. The ideal candidate collaborates closely with JetBlue’s Creative and Commercial team to ensure all projects that affect customer interactions with and perception of the JetBlue brand, are on target with the larger organization’s strategy and goals.

 

Essential Responsibilities

Create a cohesive marketing plan that supports JTP’s growth plan, product launches etc. Responsible for JTP marketing efforts including oversight of strategy to support website awareness of the brand, website traffic, engagement and retention initiatives for JetBlue Vacations and Paisly (including insurance and car rental products). Oversee the strategy for and execution of consumer promotions, marketing campaigns and activations to further enhance the brand and drive revenue for JTP. Develop, foster and nurture relationships with JetBlue channel counterparts and loyalty team to maximize planning and execution of content in JetBlue channels during promotional and evergreen periods. Improve the customer experience in the digital realm managing customer’s interactions with and perception of the JTP brand through all business-to-consumer (B2C) marketing touch points. Oversee the development of email campaign strategy and optimize the channel to deliver relevant content and personalization to help elevate the performance of JTP’s campaigns. Oversee the JTP website content and optimize the process for updating and managing the digital customer experience. Oversee JetBlue Vacations sponsorships and activations; record and analyze results from these initiatives. Manage advertising agency partner for all creative campaign production for JetBlue Vacations and Paisly products. Determine and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for each program and promotion. Build and lead team to execute marketing strategy for JetBlue Vacations and Paisly. Oversee a robust A/B testing plan for email and content to maximize performance and continue to optimize. Work with the Creative team to collaborate on all projects to ensure complete visibility into timelines and prioritization to deliver on all assets and campaigns. Work collaboratively with the Commercial team on promotional offers and involve the Tech team on any new technology as needed to support new offer constructions and customer experiences. Develop and maintain Marketing budget. Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support engagement, overall retention, growth and goal achievement. Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least five (5) years of previous relevant work experience. Five (5) years of email, digital web marketing and promotions experience. At least five (5) years in a manager role. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Understanding of asset development video, audio, email, print and the ability to create compelling and effective communications in all channels managed. Understanding of strategic marketing principles and ability to link marketing strategy to commercial strategy. Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization. Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail. Excellent negotiation skills. Ability to build and nurture relationships. Can thrive in a dynamic and face-paced work environment. Available for occasional overnight travel (10%). Must pass a ten (10) year background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located. Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

Previous airline marketing experience.

 

Crewmember Expectations

Regular attendance and punctuality.  Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.  Able to maintain a professional appearance. When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.  Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun.  The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.
