Position Summary
The Coordinator, Marketing (LACAR) will support the team Commercial International Team by managing marketing goals and initiatives within the Puerto Rican (PR) and Dominican Republic (DR) Markets respectively.
This role is a JetBlue brand ambassador and supports all internal and external marketing programs to sustain and grow the JetBlue network while focusing on increasing brand awareness, executing key buzz initiatives, and driving bookings for JetBlue trough all channels.
This role will work closely with a portfolio of current business partners and will be assigned with projects through all phases of the life-cycle and maintain multiple projects under tight deadlines. The role possesses insight and local market knowledge and provides recommendations for marketing, traditional and digital advertising, agency management, agency briefing, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) campaigns that exhibits the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun.
Essential Responsibilities
Supports LACAR marketing strategy, brand campaigns, activations and storytelling, inclusive of crafting briefs, evaluating concepts and creative, and providing feedback Supporting and driving the day-to-day management of JetBlue’s LACAR agency relationships Serving as an internal workgroup liaison, supporting the Manager, Brand Marketing in securing stakeholder Act as primary internal/external JetBlue representative (“JetBlue Commercial Ambassador”) for key local relationships, business partners, sponsorship partners, charitable organizations, and crewmembers for the Region Manage, and execute marketing and promotional initiatives to support PR and DR blue cities by leading cross-functional commercial teams Oversee JetBlue’s contractual assets (including hospitality, signage, promotions, and advertising) and act as the day-to-day contact with sponsorship partners Overseeing the production and execution of activations, responsible for the successful deployment of all campaign assets Execute internal communications strategy and crewmember engagement programs tied to sponsorship assets, commercial initiatives, and/or volunteer opportunities Support commercial initiatives such as cooperative marketing agreements, fulfill partnership commitments, plan and execute local events, and contribute insights to internal projects Execute new market launches in collaboration with key Commercial and Corporate Communication stakeholders Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results vs investment and key performance metrics Create and maintain a repository for department-level projects and knowledge management, allowing the Commercial Team to regularly communicate relevant information to senior leadership Work closely with the Corporate Sales Teams including Travel Agents Support Desk to ensure appropriate level of service and implement new initiatives Work closely with existing partners on activations and/or general marketing Be our eyes and ears on the ground on the island; build local community relationships Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma, or relevant experience in marketing or advertising One (1) year of experience in Marketing, Social Media and Content Marketing, Advertising or related field Must be a native or fluent Spanish speaker Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines Ability to work in autonomous environment with changing priorities Knowledge of computer programs including Excel, Microsoft Project, Word and PowerPoint Available for frequent overnight travel (up to 50%) In possession of valid travel document with the ability to travel in and out of the United States Ability to manage projects and define necessary resources for successful completion of projects Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Highly organized and possess the ability to prepare concise and accurate documentation for project requirements and vision Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
