The office also connects those affected by sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, gender discrimination, and gender-based violence with university and community resources and support. Search Contact Emailsiena.ho_shue@colostate.edu Position Summary This position provides technical support for the interpersonal violence & response programs in the Office of Title IX Programs and Gender Equity, and the Office of Equal Opportunity ( OEO ) working closely with the Title IX Coordinator (or designee) to ensure timely response and monitoring of reports of harassment – including sexual violence, sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, discrimination and retaliation. This position will enhance constituent experience, interactions, and efficiency in compliance with University policies, as well as federal, state, and local laws. This position will assist the Title IX Coordinator through active documentation of Title IX and OEO processes, developing, implementing case management plans, and revising as needed the best methods of maintaining records and documentation. This position is vital to providing exemplary customer service to constituents contacting or visiting the office, submitting reports and/or complaints, scheduling and maintaining calendars for the Title IX and Civil Rights Coordinator, Deputy Title IX/Civil Rights Coordinator, and Civil Rights Investigators with consideration for priority of appointments and needs of the office. This position will be required to follow established work procedures and operate within formulated guidelines, and deviation from such requires approval of the Title IX Coordinator who is Work Lead and has oversight responsibilities for the Interpersonal Violence & Response Programs area. Position Minimum Qualifications + Associate’s Degree. + At least two (2) years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications + Experience: utilizing Microsoft 365 suite products (Outlook, MS Teams, and preferably familiar with case management systems including Maxient – designing and executing queries) + Familiarity with Clery reporting requirements and tracking. + Familiarity with trauma informed practices and interviewing techniques to be able to record pertinent data during investigative interviews. + Familiarity with trauma informed practices to apply during interactions and communications with parties involved in process. + Ability to stay current on applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance to meet the needs of supported positions and maintain accuracy of records in accordance with University policy. + Experience navigating and working with confidential and sensitive information. + Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field. Prioritize scheduling requests using judgement around competing urgent priorities. + The Title IX/ OEO Assistant will also schedule and provide technical support for live Title IX hearings. + Interacting with customers who may exhibit unusual (rude, out of the ordinary) behavior due to the nature of business conducted within the Title IX office; handling and determining proper routing of confidential and sometimes urgent information.
