As the Stockroom Attendant, we need someone to issue supplies, reorder parts, and check inventory systems. Major Functions + Assist plant personnel in getting needed items to perform their jobs + Work with Maintenance Personnel to assure we are getting the right items + Act as a Control to make sure Inventory levels are accurate (quarterly) + AS400 use for inventory location and maintenance + Basic lifting, unpacking, and stocking of newly received items + Clean and Maintain in-stock inventory to assure it is ready to be used + Participate in annual review of slow-moving and obsolete stock + Maintains documentation/records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area. + Follows standard operating procedures. + Keeps area safe, clean and organized. + Supports a life-long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development of other employees. + Performs other related duties as required. Experience and Knowledge Required + High school or equivalent experience. + At least 1 year of manufacturing experience + Experience using computerized inventory control system. Competencies + Ability to read and understand procedures in English. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
