Role Objective:
We’re on the hunt for an experienced Ticketing Manager to join the Mellen Events team in Perth. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee all ticketing operations across our diverse calendar of concerts, tours, and live events—locally and around the country. From pricing strategy and inventory management to guest lists and box office operations, you’ll play a central role in shaping the ticketing experience from pre-sale to showtime.

 

You’ll work closely with promoters, venues, agents, and ticketing platforms to maximise sales, uncover revenue opportunities, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, thrives under pressure, and brings both strategic thinking and operational know-how to the table. Key Responsibilities: 

Managing all ticketing operations across Mellen and Live Nation events Leading pricing strategy, holds, comps, VIPs, and allocations Collaborating with promoters and agents to optimise event builds and ticket performance Building and maintaining strong relationships with ticket agents and venues Providing daily sales reports and performance insights Driving ticketing-based marketing initiatives and partner promotions Managing all aspects of event day ticketing and gate operations, including box office, guest services, FOH and staff supervision and training.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in ticketing for large-scale events and tours Strong understanding of platforms like Ticketmaster and ticketing system operations Excellent data analysis, reporting, and forecasting skills Sharp attention to detail and a solution-focused mindset Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills Ability to remain cool and customer-focused under pressure Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

 

Bonus Points:

Familiarity with multiple venue layouts and pricing strategies Experience in settlement and finance processes Knowledge of current ticketing tech, access control, and industry trendsEvent Day Delivery experience
