Job Description

As a D1 Ticket Account Executive, this position will play a vital role in driving revenue growth through the sale of season tickets, group packages, and premium seating for our Division 1 athletic events. This position will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with individual ticket holders, corporate clients, and group sales prospects. This position requires strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for collegiate athletics. This is an in-office position located in Stephenville, Texas.

Normal working hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm or as work requirements may indicate. This position may require the ability to work outside of normal working hours including weekends and holidays.

Must have the ability to work remotely at the request of the university in times of inclement weather or other special circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation: Drives ticket sales revenue through proactive outreach, prospecting, and networking. Identifies and pursues opportunities to sell season tickets, mini-plans, group packages, and premium seating options.

Client Relationship Management: Builds and maintains relationships with individual ticket holders, corporate clients, booster club members, and group leaders. Provides personalized service to meet the needs and preferences of each client.

Revenue Forecasting and Goal Setting: Develops sales strategies and revenue projections in collaboration with the ticket sales manager. Sets ambitious yet attainable sales goals and track progress towards targets.

Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepares and delivers compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Highlights the benefits of season ticket ownership, premium seating amenities, and group hospitality options.

Customer Service: Provides exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-sale support. Addresses client inquiries, resolves issues, and ensures a positive experience for all ticket holders.

Sales Events and Promotions: Assists in the planning and execution of sales events, promotional activities, and fan engagement initiatives. Attends networking events and community functions to promote ticket sales.

Data Management: Maintains accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and revenue transactions in the CRM system. Utilizes data analytics to identify sales trends, track sales performance, and optimize sales strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
No prior experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in collegiate athletics, particularly at the Division 1 level.

Knowledge of ticketing operations, pricing strategies, and sales techniques.

Familiarity with fundraising and donor relations in a collegiate setting.

Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the college athletics landscape.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on meeting or exceeding revenue targets. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.

Commensurate with experience

Salary Range

The target base annual salary range is $40,000 to $45,971 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
