As a Threat Intelligence Researcher with Best Buy, you’ll play a key role in arming our security teams with actionable threat related information and intelligence. This will help our world class security teams and security apparatuses defend our customers and the enterprise from advanced threats. You’ll research attacks, vectors, attack groups, new vulnerabilities, exploits, fraud techniques and campaign trends

This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.

What you’ll do
 Conduct research for tracking certain malware families, campaigns, criminals, or cyber threat actors through technical analysisDetermine changes in the threat landscape and provide recommendations to reduce risk before threat exposure occursProvide context and prioritization information to support Threat Hunt, Incident Response, Fraud, and other partner teamsMake strategic observations about future cyber and fraud trends to help improve detection and tactical responseProvide proactive identification of supply chain attacks, fraud methodologies and support investigationsProvide concise, actionable, and timely reporting on relevant threats to support various enterprise teams
Basic qualifications
 5 years of general experience in threat intelligence, digital forensics, incident response or malware reverse engineering2 years of experience directly supporting cyber security detection and response teams with technical research and reporting2 years of experience utilizing behavioral analysis and reverse engineering outputs from researcher other teams or automated sandbox testing
