Follow all safety and 5S guidelines, ensuring the work area remains clean and organized.Promote safety in the workplace and encourage others to work safely.Operate thermoforming machines to produce finished goods in a safe and cost-effective manner.Manage and coordinate assigned support staff (Assistants and Packers).Monitor and minimize downtime by conducting efficient changeovers using best practices.Ensure products meet production, quality, and technical specifications through QA testing and inspections.Keep Supervisor/Team Leader informed about critical issues affecting safety, quality, and production.Solve production problems and troubleshoot independently or with team support.Maintain tool boards, machine boards, audits, and check sheets.Provide scheduled breaks and lunches for the production team.Complete Thermoforming Operator Job Training and Skills Assessment for certification.Serve as a trainer/coach for production staff.Assist with other plant operations as directed by Supervisor or Team Leader.Comply with all policies and procedures, including work rules, quality standards, and food safety regulations.Support Kaizen Events and continuous improvement or cost savings initiatives.WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
