Therapist III
Position Summary:
The primary purpose of the Therapist position is to work within a multi-disciplinary team approach to provide therapy and case management to individuals and families utilizing specialized treatment modalities related to current and accepted psychological, chemical dependency, group and individual theory.
Responsibilities:
• Provides direct care through assessments, groups, family and 1:1 services
• Provides discharge planning, support and resource education to patients and families
• Provides clinical supervisor to staff working towards licensure
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's degree in social work or counseling or related field (i.e. Psychology) required
• LCSW/LCPC Idaho state license required; current license in another state as a LCSW/LCPC or equivalent acceptable with license in the State of Idaho required within one year of hire
• 3 years of fulltime psychological experience in social work assessment format, treatment planning and crisis intervention required
• Certified to provide supervision to therapists seeking State of Idaho licensure
• Crisis prevention training, or must acquire within 6 months of employment, required
• BLS required
Working Conditions:
• Must be able to lift and move up to 35lbs
• Must be able to maintain a standing position
• Typical equipment used in a clinical and office job
