Reports to assigned program supervisor or covering supervisor. Provides home-based clinical treatment utilizing the BSFT model theory and techniques to an assigned caseload of up to 8 cases and provides coverage for peer's caseload as needed. Manages the extensive travel requirements involved in serving families in their homes. Conduct family therapy in a place and at the time that is most convenient to the family. Do not allow place or time to become a barrier to engagement of all family members, or to treatment. Conducts assessments including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying strengths and weaknesses and individualized treatment planning and conducts intakes as applicable.

Responsibilities

***UP TO $2,000 SIGN ON INCENTIVE***

Reports to assigned program supervisor or covering supervisor.Provides home-based clinical treatment utilizing the BSFT model theory and techniques to an assigned caseload of up to 8 cases and provides coverage for peer's caseload as needed.Manages the extensive travel requirements involved in serving families in their homes.Conduct family therapy in a place and at the time that is most convenient to the family. Do not allow place or time to become a barrier to engagement of all family members, or to treatment.Conducts assessments including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying strengths and weaknesses and individualized treatment planning and conducts intakes as applicable.Participate in all BSFT MODEL training, supervision and consultation activities and all required agency and stakeholder trainings, individual and group coaching and staff meetings.Adheres to model expectations and implement with fidelity.Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with every family member that has or should have a relationship with the youth who has identified needs.As the leader of the therapeutic relationship, take responsibility for family progress and outcomesTransform negative interactions into positive and collaborative interactionsFocus on family strengths (defined from an interactional perspective). These are the connection, concern and love that are behind a family member’s negative behaviors. Videotape all family therapy sessionsConsistently meets all program and model Key Performance Indicators (including session pacing, required casework contacts, successful client outcomes, timely completion of Family Assessment Service Plans, data entry, etc.).Identify and address family risk factors that give rise to possible child removal, ACS involvement, and out of home placement due to continued referral behavior or new risk/safety factors. This includes the completion of safety plans and incident reports if necessary.Maintains clear, concise and timely documentation of treatment efforts in progress notes and Family Assessment and Service Planning (FASP) that promote peer, supervisory, model expert and ACS review and feedback.Manages the extensive documentation requirements in all databases to successfully comply with mandates from agency, ACS and model.Identify community-based resources for families, collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders/providers (i.e. child protection services, probation officers, judges, schools, doctors, mental health providers, etc.) to monitor participation in services, ensure cooperation among service providers and accompany families to appointments if needed.Provides 24/7 coverage during the week and participates on a weekend on-call rotational schedule as applicable.Other duties as assigned.

Experience preferred: 

 Two years of clinical experience post-master’s degree OR one year of a master’s level clinical internship AND one year of clinical experience post-master’s degree.

Other Requirements:

BSFT model manager will support in determining fit for role. Fluent in English/Spanish preferred
