Therapeutic Area Manager
Therapeutic Area Manager Location.: Czechia Full time job Accountable for maximizing the brand potential, delivering the agreed country Therapeutic Area business plan objectives and targets by optimal management of resources and leadership of Sales Force team. Closely collaborate with HUBs, Therapeutic Area community and cross functional country team. Responsible for Therapeutic Area commercial activities, projects, and effective people management. Essential duties and responsibilities: People Leadership & management: + Leads local brand value team for dedicated Therapeutic Area with customer centric approach. + Direct Manager of TA sales team promoting high performance culture. + Accountable for country commercial plans and targets in respective Therapeutic Area. + Leads, coaches and develops individuals in the team so that they have direction, skills, and tools to achieve targets and to possess sufficient medical, commercial and technical knowledge. + Trains team on best delivery of the commercial brand messages and customer objection handling. + Organizes Sales / cycle meetings. + Evaluates team members performance by conducting periodical reviews, observing their performance and skills on the field during joint visits, by giving continuous constructive feedback and promote high performance culture Regional strategy localization and implementation: + Responsible for implementation of aligned HUB-Country Brand Strategy and agreed Therapeutic Area activities in the country. + Creates local customer engagement strategy to maximize country TA business in short and long term. + Management of brand message and material localization process. + Implements promotional activities (advertising campaigns, multichannel promotional activity, DMs, events, etc.). + Coordinates deployment of multichannel and digital brand strategy as defined by HUBs and CE&B Multichannel with the responsibility to achieve set KPIs (CIE index, etc). + Leads local commercial brand related projects in close collaboration with Commercial Lead. Local Brand Management: + Leads creation of x-functional integrated brand plans with full understanding of local patient journey. + Supports market access activities for the respective TA and brands. + Accountable for business planning (IBP, BP and LRFP including risk & opportunity profile), accurate forecasting and effective management of resources (OOP, FTEs) in TA in collaboration with Commercial Lead and other functions ( HEMAR, GA&PA and MAF) + Accountable for Therapeutic Area OOP management throughout the year. Resource allocation & Territory Management: + Leads customer profiling, segmentation & targeting and territory alignment. Responsible for local sales targets, develops action plans how to reach the targets and ensures efficient resource allocation based on brand and segmentation and targeting strategy. + Ensures rational local supply levels considering market trends, correct forecasting (production, supply and sales) in close co-operation with Commercial Lead & Logistics. Business Acumen & Strategic Mindset + Analyses existing market data (Market research, IQVIA, NTS, Wholesaler data, etc.), identifies trends and opportunities and provides insights to the upper management. + Cooperates with the HUB in need of local market research when necessary. Collects, analyses other secondary data from market research patient flow, guidelines, etc. + Continuously tracks the market insights. + Gives input for the HUB of relevant local market insights for strategy creation. Collaborate & Drive results: + Drive results by enabling Therapeutic Area team to set and execute plans to meet its volume and revenue targets, market share targets and overall business objectives. + Effectively communicate and collaborate with HUBs, TA communities and cross-functional country teams. Customer focus: Identify, develop and manage external relationships with key stakeholders and key customers based on the patient journey. **Qualifications** Requirements: + Education: University / Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent, preferably in a relevant business-related discipline + Experienced in business (sales & marketing) management (min. 3-5 years) / + Location and mobility: 70% office based, 30% travels/external facing + Positive attitude to change if needed, ability to challenge "status quo" + Excellent communication skills (oral, business writing, presenting and listening) + Native local speaker and fluent English knowledge of both spoken and written + High level of ethical standards in business + Honest, trustworthy personality + Leadership, Empathy, Open communication, leading by example + Professional experience from pharmaceutical business environment + Broad based, well rounded medical/marketing background + Ability to navigate and produce results in a global, matrix organization, strong cross-departmental support, interdisciplinary approach + Strong customer and patient focus. + Act on a pro-active, agile and goal-oriented manner.
