About the Role & Program:
The Disneyland Resort Operations Leadership Intern, Summer/Fall 2025 is a developmental leadership position that is responsible for active day-to-day management of Cast and location performance in high-volume areas of the Disneyland® Resort operation; these areas may include Food & Beverage, Custodial, Attractions, Retail, Guest Relations, Entertainment and/or Arrival locations.
As a Leadership Intern, you will ensure a productive, efficient, and safe operation, enhance Guest experiences, and boost Cast engagement. This role involves improving Guest service standards, coaching Cast behaviors, and leading the business through Key Business Drivers, all while staying true to the Disney brand.
Interns who successfully complete this six-month internship may receive special consideration for future leadership roles and may be invited to participate in the next Leadership Development Program. This experience will provide valuable skills and insights that could lead to exciting career opportunities post-graduation.
We are currently seeking upcoming undergraduate seniors or final year graduate students or recent college graduates (within the last 6 months) available for a full-time 6-month internship beginning June 2025.
We have multiple positions open for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park (DCA) Operations teams. These internships will be full-time for 6 months in length (June 2025-December 2025) and be located fully on-site in Anaheim, CA.
You Will/Responsibilities:
Dedication to excellence and working in the operation daily, which includes interacting with Guests and Cast Members and resolving any issues
Recognize Cast and hold them accountable for delivering excellence in our Five Keys: safety, courtesy, show, efficiency, and inclusion.
Exceed Guest expectations in a manner that yields results and positive Guest feedback
Partner closely and collaborate with other leadership teams due to shared Cast base, and work together to drive and deliver daily results
Participate in departmental meetings and communicate relevant information to Cast Members
Support local projects and supervise any potential impacts to the Guest and Cast experience
Gain experience through coaching, mentorship and more that will better equip you to move into a leadership/people manager role in the future
You Will Have/Required Qualifications:
1+ years of leadership experience (school, community, volunteer, sports, business/guest facing, etc.)
Demonstrated integrity and the ability to maintain composure in a dynamic, high-demand work environment
Demonstrated operational guest service experience, problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills with attention to detail
Experience working with Microsoft products including Office – Outlook, Word, Teams
Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of Business experience (Hospitality, Travel/tourism, Operations) through internships, part-time work, and/or on-campus involvement
Practical or university/classes within Business, Hospitality, Travel/tourism, Operations, Customer Service, Leadership, etc.
Travel/tourism experience within Operations in areas such as Food & Beverage, Custodial, Retail, Guest Relations, etc.
Proficiency navigating and leading through conflict, both Cast/employee and Guest-affecting. Ability to tackle unique scenarios while demonstrating composure.
Understanding of the Disneyland Resort offerings
Bilingual language skills
Required Education:
Currently an upcoming senior or a recent graduate (within six months of your graduation date) pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or closely related field. (Graduation dates required: anytime from Dec 2024-June 2026)
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree and taking at least one class at the time of application OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Possess unrestricted work authorization

Work details - Must be able to work FULL-TIME hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship

Housing - Must provide own housing for the duration internship program
