You will be the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) System Integration & Check Out (SICO) Coordinator and Communications Specialist/Curriculum Developer for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Defense system. Our team is responsible for supporting the THAAD weapon system, including all communication systems, throughout SICO activities and student new equipment training.



What You Will Be Doing
As the CLS SICO Coordinator and Communications Specialist/Curriculum Developer, you will be responsible for serving as the focal point for all maintenance and sustainment activities associated with the THAAD weapon system. You will support SICO activities at various CONUS locations and the THAAD CLS Academy, ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer and/or product requirements into solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing oversight of all CLS scope throughout each SICO, including maintenance and repair activities
• Initiating engineering reach-back capability for advanced troubleshooting and complex maintenance guidance
• Interacting with key stakeholders to provide status and identify areas of concern related to SICO maintenance activities
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and addressing failures or anomalies incurred throughout the SICO
• Demonstrating proficiency in oral and written communication to provide clear and succinct information to stakeholders

This position is based in El Paso, TX.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires a current Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of relevant experience working in Field Service and / or Systems Engineering (or similar position)
• Previous experience with the THAAD system (or similar system)
• An active U.S. Department of Defense SECRET Security Clearance.
• A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel
• Willingness to perform these duties in remote CONUS locations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
• Candidate must be able to maintain a good working relationship with the internal and external stakeholders
Desired Skills:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field commensurate to assignment and / or equivalent military background
• Previous experience as a THAAD or Patriot Field Service Leader, Contractor Logistics Support Leader and / or Maintenance Leader
- Demonstrated ability in interpreting technical manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, interface specifications, and system level requirements
- Demonstrated ability in applying troubleshooting and fault detection/isolation methods
• Comp TIA Security + Certified
• Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Certification
• Previous experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple technical disciplines (Systems Engineering, Integration & Test Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar)
• Previous experience executing maintenance management in a military environment (US Army, foreign military, or similar)
• Previous experience developing new equipment training material for military systems (THAAD, PAC-3, or similar)
• Program/Project Management experience with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical and programmatic issues to subordinates, peers, management, and customers
• Basic knowledge of:
- Electrical/mechanical aptitude
- Hydraulic operations
- Army Supply System
- Army Sustainment (i.e. Depot Maintenance) concepts/processes
- Army Field Maintenance concepts/processes
• Demonstrated proficiency with THAAD communications system including but not limited to:
- Link 16 MIDS/JTIDS and Antennas
- JREAP A, B, and C
- TOCNET
- PRC Radios 103/104/117, SINCGARS/ASIPS or equivalent (Half Duplex, Full Duplex, COMM 201B, Antennas)
- CSZ-5D SATCOM wit Antenna types
- Networks
- CISCO switches
- Firewall
- Linux Redhat and UNIX
• Other desired military (MOS) training:
- 14A / 140A / 14E / 140E / 14H / 14T / 25U

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
