This is an office-based position. We anticipate a typical school office setting including conversation, light foot traffic, computers, etc. Must live in Texas.You will be required to travel to a local testing site to test students in person

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. 

Receive training and administer TX State assessments to K12 Texas studentsAttend/complete required online and in-person training sessions and/or Test Administrator meetingsRead the State and School Test Administration Manual and Test Administrator Directions for all tests you will administerTravel to test site  you are assigned toSet up tables, chairs, and computer labMaintain and confirm that all equipment is up to date and in working order Sign students into the test site and collect emergency contact formsRead Test scripts and follow all TX State Test Security policies and proceduresActively monitor students while they are completing assessmentsProvide and maintain a safe and orderly testing environmentAccurately code test information in database/complete paperworkMonitor hallways/bathrooms during testing to ensure student safety and testing confidentiality

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

 MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:    

High School DiplomaComputer Software/Hardware: To perform this job successfully, an individual will need general computer knowledge to set up computer labs, access student test data, and attend online training sessions.Travel: Ability to travel to/from local testing sitesAbility to clear required background checkAbility to submit fingerprints at a field print location near your residence

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

Strong Attention to DetailPunctuality/Dependability/Ethics: an individual MUST be able to commit to being at the test site on the dates indicated during the times needed.Be physically able to perform duties: lift test boxes weighting 20-30 lbs, arrange tables and chairs, able to stand for long periods 

 DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Prior TX state assessment testing experience
