Test Technician
Join our team as an RF Microwave Test Technician and work on cutting-edge military technology! What You'll Do: + Test, Tune, and Troubleshoot: Work on mid-range to highly complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies, ensuring they meet performance specifications. + Environmental Testing: Test units over temperature, during vibration, and mechanical shock, and place units into burn-in ovens. + Advanced Equipment: Use state-of-the-art standard, specialized, manual, and automated test equipment. + Data Management: Retrieve test procedures, assembly drawings, and schematics from the computer, and input test yield data. + Assembly Tasks: Perform a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks, including modifications, rework, and quality testing. + Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering teams to develop procedures and troubleshoot products. Required Skills: + Active Secret Clearance + RF Microwave Expertise: Previous experience in testing, tuning, and troubleshooting RF Microwave Hybrid assemblies. + RF Equipment Proficiency: Familiarity with RF Signal Generators, Analyzers, Signal Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF Power Meters, and Network Analyzers. + Microscope Skills: Ability to work under a microscope to test, tune, and troubleshoot assemblies. + Hand Tool Dexterity: Skilled in using torque drivers, tweezers, and other precision tools. + Technical Reading: Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings. + Computer Savvy: Good computer skills for retrieving drawings, work instructions, and other job activities. + Vibration Equipment Experience: Experience operating computer-driven mechanical vibration equipment. + Soldering Skills: Experience soldering components in accordance with J-STD-001. + Data Analysis: Experience analyzing RF Microwave test data. + Procedure Writing: Experience writing test procedures and troubleshooting from schematics. + Controlled Environment Familiarity: Experience working in ESD and FOD controlled environments. + Education: High School Diploma required An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
