Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Test Proctor - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Comply with all testing procedures and strictly adhere to policies and protocols set forth by the various testing companies we are contracted with.

Administer and proctor a multitude of computer based Academic, as well as State and National tests given at our center, including our Prometric lab, per contract guidelines.

Check in testing candidates via computer testing portals, verify identification, perform security checks, and explain the exam process.

Proctor/invigilate candidates while testing by performing regular walk throughs, as well as DVR observation.

Assist with minor troubleshooting issues that may arise.

Perform routine office work, such as answering phone calls, filing and other clerical duties as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Motivated, organized, self-starter, capable of working independently and in a
team environment required.

Customer service, interpersonal, and diversity skills required.

Strong computer skills required.

Availability to work a flexible schedule required.

Salary:

$15.00 per hour.

Monday - Saturday for a total of 20 to 25 hours per week, times vary. May include morning, afternoon and evening hours.

This is a part time position.

Temporary positions are not established positions and are paid from OPS funds. Temporary positions are usually not eligible for benefits and retirement; however, they may be eligible for health insurance coverage depending on the average hours worked per week. They provide full-time or part-time employment in an exempt or non-exempt employment situation based on job duties and salary in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Temporary positions do not have layoff rights and may be terminated without prior notice.
