The role
Quality Assurance Leadership:
Test Planning & Execution:
Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. Ensure comprehensive test coverage for web applications, APIs, and system integrations.Automation Testing :
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks. Collaborate with the development team to identify automation opportunities and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.Agile/Scrum Collaboration:
Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Scrum Masters to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.Issue Management & Reporting:
Identify, document, and track defects to resolution using issue-tracking tools. Provide detailed and timely reports on testing progress, quality metrics, and potential risks.Continuous Improvement:
Mentor and guide team members on quality control methodologies and practices. Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and techniques to improve processes.What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in quality control or testing roles, with at least 2 years in a lead role. Strong expertise in testing web and integration systems. Technical Skills: Proficiency in manual testing and experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI). Automation testing experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar is a plus. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
