Job Description A large financial client is looking for a Test Lead to join the team in NYC/Jersey City, This person will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance efforts for the equity management system, ensuring seamless functionality and reliability. Day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and scripts. They will perform hands-on functional, regression, and integration testing, with a focus on equities workflows, FX options, and Fidessa integration. This includes identifying and documenting defects, coordinating with development teams for resolution, and ensuring that all trading workflows align with industry compliance standards. They must participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions, manage test progress and quality metrics, and generate reports for stakeholders. Additionally, they should be able to leverage their expertise to recommend process improvements, mentor junior testers, and contribute to building a robust equity management system that meets the demands of the trading environment. Skills and Requirements 4-5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on equities and financial systems.  Strong knowledge of Fidessa and its integration with trading systems.  Hands-on experience with FX options and equity workflows.  Proficiency in developing and executing test strategies, plans, and scripts.  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
