Test Equipment Technician (Richardson, Texas)

In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. **Responsibilities include:** + Proactively monitor and inspect Parametric Probe Cards and execute maintenance and repairs including cleaning, alignment and baking + Proactively monitor parametric test floor and ensure uninterrupted smooth testing operation & accurately documenting fails to help effective repairs and shifts passdown communication. + Help improve test cells utilization by identifying potential issues to help eliminate repetitive downs + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), repairs and upgrades to enhance tools performance and address all tools related performance issues + Material disposition + Create/edit test programs when required + Support engineering improvement projects, tasks and data collection This technician must be willing to learn the traditional test tech responsibilities and cross train in this area to help support fab growth **Why TI?** + Engineer your future. If you are interested in this position, please apply to this requisition. **Minimum requirements:** + High School diploma/GED + 18 years of age or older + 2 years of semiconductor experience as a technician + Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule + Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays **Preferred qualifications:** + Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance + Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems + Excellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills + Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions + Ability to take the initiative and drive for results + Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery + Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment + Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationship + Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience on parametric test familiar with Accretech prober and Agilent/VLCT testers
