Job Description:

   

Reads/interprets schematics, printouts and specifications as needed to complete tests to determine the functionality of function area. Ensures testing instruments are calibrated and verified on a regular basis. Participates with the debugging and troubleshooting of new and existing procedures, equipment, products etc. Creates new test programs/procedures as needed for new technology. Compiles data used to define changes in testing procedures, testing equipment, manufacturing processes and new test requirements.

Uses ability as a skilled specialist to contribute to the development of new concepts/techniques and to complete assignments/tasks in innovative and effective ways. Expert knowledge on the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are highly complex in nature where a strong degree of initiative and technical knowledge are required to resolve problems. Work is completed independently and has ability to handle most unique situations. Frequently determines methods and procedures for new assignments. May supervise the activities of other non-exempt employees.

Responsibilities:

Education and Experience Required:

Typically a Bachelor’s degree in electronics or equivalent experience and 6+ years of experience.May include highly experienced individuals performing equivalent work who are non- degreed or degreed in an unrelated field.

Knowledge and Skills:

Advance knowledge in electronics and PCA troubleshooting.Proficient in the use of oscilloscope and other PCA troubleshooting tools.Working knowledge in the field of In Circuit Test Technology and Software.Proficient in the creation and modification of scripts to modify test programs and scripts functionality.Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete assignments with limited documentation.Strong Teamwork, Documentation and Presentation SkillsFluent in English and SpanishStrong working knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel & Power Point).Working knowledge with PowerBI is a plus.
