Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Fremont, CA is $191,506 – $278,900 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Develop assembly and test methodologies at bench and system level for NPI hardware assemblies. Research into test/validation technologies to support efficient sub assembly level testing. Work with HW design teams to develop validation plans for PCBA at board and system level test. Debug technologies for High-Speed Interconnects, PCIe and Power electronics subsystems. Experience with electrical systems, network (TCP/IP protocols) and server configurations I2C/SPI/UART buses. Create and perform reliability plans for new HW products with environment chambers using HALT and HASS testing. Experience in failure analysis and troubleshooting PCBA in a laboratory environment. Create test plans and budgeting requirements for upcoming NPI testing and verification. Manage & develop the fabrication of complex PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and System level functional test specifications through PLC (Product Life Cycle) process. Perform large scale data analysis to correlate field failure symptoms to component debug information.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Test Engineering -related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Testing protocols and performing results analysis; Working with production principles and procedures; Working with languages such as Python and Shell Script; Working with Linux Operating Systems such as RedHat or CentOS; Working with tools including Quartus2, Test Expert, Atmel Studio and Vivado. 10% International travel required.
