Test Engineer Senior
**Description** SAIC is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team at the Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. SAIC is a proud member of the Advance Battle Management System (ABMS) consortium in support of the Department of the Air Force’s (DAF) mission objectives. A common objective we share with our Air Force customer is creating decision superiority by delivering relevant information and capabilities to warfighters and operators. This position represents a unique opportunity within SAIC’s Air Force Business Group (BG) with multiple opportunities available to support our growing Portfolio, as well as working closely with mission partners across the defense industry. + Responsible for performing the integration and/or test of all components, ensuring electrical and physical compatibility to meet program technical, schedule and cost objectives. + In support of system design activities, responsible for test and/or integration of COTS-based electromechanical systems from the system design phase through development, documentation, installation and commissioning of the completed system. + Integration responsibilities may include design, develop and implement integration plans for procedures for hardware, software, and facilities. + Responsible for the physical and electrical compatibility of functional interfaces and first article product integration, ensuring seamless interface between the design and production of systems. + Testing responsibilities may include analyzes requirements for testability issues. + Develops and implements both hardware and software system level test programs, plans, specifications, procedures and customer acceptance. + Plans and leads test working groups, test readiness reviews. Conducts testability and producibility analyses and reviews. + Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight. + Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures. + Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes. + Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results. **Qualifications** + Bachelors Degree and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; Or minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of degree. + Requires mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas. Viewed as an expert and/or resource within the field by peers in and outside the organization. + Must have active Secret Clearance and must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
