Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer Force & Moment to join our team in Hanover, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing force and moment tests for our cutting-edge products in the automotive industry.

Design and set up test methods for force and moment measurementsDevelop and implement test plans and proceduresOperate and maintain sophisticated test equipment and data acquisition systemsConduct force and moment tests on flat-trac systemsAnalyze test data using statistical methods and specialized softwarePrepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to cross-functional teamsCollaborate with design engineers to improve product performance based on test resultsEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulationsContinuously improve testing methodologies and processesSupport development of software tools for test preparation and data analysisTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing

QualificationsAcademic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Natural Sciences, or related field; Master's degree preferredSeveral years of experience in tire development or tire testingProficiency in force and moment testing methodologies and equipmentExperience with statistical analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python)Understanding of vehicle dynamics or tire mechanicsKnowledge of sensor technologies and instrumentationExperience with test equipment operation and maintenanceFluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to travel occasionally to other test machine locations
