This is a contingent position based upon contract award Position Summary: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing capabilities-based assessments, verifying and validating current USSTRATCOM strategic weapon system planning programs, and emerging commercial systems. The role involves using a trigger-driven environment for modeling and simulation, conducting focused technology studies, and performing engineering analyses to improve system performance, survivability, and cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities: + Testing Experience: + Data validation testing + Functional testing + Usability testing + Accessibility (508) testing + User Acceptance Testing (UAT) + Infrastructure Maintenance: Develop and maintain project testing infrastructure + Detailed Writing: Write detailed test scripts, test reports, and analyses for the product + Full Lifecycle Participation: Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle + Team collaboration: Meet with product design team and development team to determine testing parameters Work Environment: + Location: On-site + Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20% + Working Hours: Standard Qualifications: Required: + Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance + Education: Bachelor’s degree in an IT field OR BS degree in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree + Test Engineering Experience: Extensive experience in test engineering, particularly in the defense sector + Test Case Experience: Experience developing Test Cases and conducted Verification and Validation testing for Use Cases and Bugs + Business Logic Development: Past performance developing, refining and documenting Business Logic for use/test cases for personas + Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Systems and architecture: Experience with NC3 systems and architectures + Cybersecurity Knowledge: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices in a DevSecOps Pipeline + Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Leaderships: Exceptional leadership skills + Team collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment + Project Management Tool: Experience using Jira + Software Experience: Experience with Cameo Desired: + Certifications: + CAST (Certified Associate in Software Testing) + International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) + Communications: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly Ready to Make a Difference?
