EMI/EMC Engineer (DO-160) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced EMI/EMC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our new aircraft and helicopter engine designs comply with DO-160 standards. This role involves conducting EMI/EMC design reviews, providing technical support, and developing models for interference coupling mechanisms. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct EMI/EMC design reviews of vehicle electronic systems and components. * Provide technical support to product design teams, ensuring compliance with DO-160 standards. * Develop models for interference coupling mechanisms, shielding integrity, and circuit/cable interface isolation. * Perform CAE analysis and simulations to validate designs. * Review and tailor EMI/EMC requirements to meet specified product performance. * Plan and execute EMI/EMC testing to ensure compliance with DO-160 standards. * Analyze test results and implement necessary design modifications. * Prepare and maintain certification documentation to support the EMI/EMC certification process. * Ensure compliance with development assurance levels (DALs), safety assessments, and verification processes. * Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory requirements for commercial aircraft (e.g., FAA, EASA, TCCA). Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. * Experience with EMI/EMC testing to MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 standards. * Strong problem-solving skills and working knowledge of radiation performance. * Strong understanding of development assurance levels (DALs), safety assessments, and verification processes. * Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory requirements for commercial aircraft (e.g., FAA, EASA, TCCA).
