Are you someone who can:

Ensure implementation of relevant policies, governance and practice standards across the businessMaintain knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and internal compliance procedures and requirementsEnsure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by organisation and review in response to audit findigns and changesDevelops an understanding of risks and risk management approachesImplement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within area of specialisation and identify risksEducates others and makes suggestions for improvementsNetworks and participates in specialist risk forums where requiredCreate test plan to include environments, number of resources to be assigned to  the project, high level test case and highlight the risks and assumptionsCreate the test procedure to be followed when executing the test casesCreate design steps from test cases in the Quality CentreExecute system validation plans (new function) and liaise with the Business Analysts and technical teams in order to compile test scriptsExecute all test activities for allocated projectsCoordinate and execute all allocated test activities for projectsPrepare and submit test plans for sign-offEnsure alignment between test environment and production environmentTreat production issues as first priorityCompile defect reports to highlight to the Stakeholders the number of issues raisedAssess own performance against competencies and skills required deliveryIdentify development needs and select effective solutions to address own development needPrepare a personal development plan with management to implement and review as requiredMonitor own progress against development plan and measure impact of resultsPromote teamwork and inclusivity amongst team members and demonstrates behaviours that respect diversityPartner and collaborate with team members to achieve team successShare information and knowledge that benefits the team

You’ll be an ideal candidate if you meet the following requirements:

BSc Eng, BSc Informatics degree or any other related qualificationISTQB certification is non-negotiable4+ years experience in a testing roleWorking knowledge of Quality Center and/or OctaneKnowledge of SOAP UI, API testing, SQL queries, etc. would be highly advantageous.Experience working in a financial services company would be ideal
