The Territory Sales Manager is the frontline of the Watts Water Quality sales organization in our water treatment channel. As such, the TSM is responsible for driving sales growth, fostering close customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and adding new customers in the region. Further, the Territory Sales Manager is responsible for delivering upon established sales goals including top line revenue, margin and share growth. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is an important component of the company’s aggressive growth strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Is an effective salesperson and account manager who works closely with existing customers to develop specific growth plans and targets.
Can successfully build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities that support the overall growth strategy of the company.
Skilled at establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Is comfortable being on the road in customer facing capacity >75% of the time.
Is comfortable prospecting, cold calling, and creating new opportunities.
Conducts business with absolute integrity.
Develops and Implements sales plans that deliver at or above established goals.
Communicates frequently with manager and internal stakeholders.
Can professionally present business plans, pipeline status, sales data, and strategy relevant to the role.
Is talented, ambitious, and interested in joining a strong company with career development opportunities.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent industry experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Water Treatment Industry, Water Systems, or Plumbing Industry experience preferred.
Water Treatment background a plus
Proven track record of sales achievement and account management
Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in sales and account management
Strong technical background and/or aptitude
Must be a motivated self-starter
Strong organizational skills and ability to successfully prioritize activities
Must possess excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
Salesforce experience is a plus.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up a minimum of 10 pounds. Work in office environment and remotely from home, client site, etc
May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting: trade shows, etc.
